A bit about me...... I have been working in pastoral care in a busy primary school for 9 years. In this time my role has been varied and challenging but you cannot ignore the job satisfaction you get from making a difference in a child's life. You could be the one person that has made a positive impact on their life journey and given them the confidence and support to succeed, that is quite a responsibility and should not be taken lightly. Often through the years I have trawled the internet for resources and ideas and taken snippets from here and there to build a fix term intervention programme but eventually I decided to write my own programmes. Now I can draw upon these resources and know I have a set programme of intervention to follow for a set time, which makes it easier to track the child's progress and decide upon next steps to be taken. My aim for this blog is simple, to make my resources and ideas available to others. If only there was a site like this all those years ago when I first began working with vulnerable children.
